Last week we had seen the preparations for the way Montana was re-organizing the slope with the features. They were still moving around with the big kicker and all the setup jumps hadn’t been properly groomed, but today we heard that all would be properly groomed and had enough freezing time to harden. Unfortunately the weather outside had been making the slope at the top a bit icy, but I’m not complaining at all as we were still able to ride when outside it was about 30 degrees Celsius.
Check out the vid Jorg made from our training:
The training was excellent and I almost rode all the features and at the end of the session I hit the new big kicker and was still able to clear it normally. So next Wednesday we’ll be riding again at Montana and hopefully the snow has recovered from the iciness.
